Like many companies, the last couple of years have been really challenging for all of us but especially so for Preston Technical which has always prided itself on really living family values in the way that we work.
A number of our staff have their family members working in the company. We take a lot of pride in that because then we must be doing a lot of things right in the development of our work culture and environment that people from the same family want to work at Preston Technical. This fact probably illustrates this more graphically than any marketing “spin” we could put out!
With this in mind, it was a pleasure for Preston Technical to host it’s annual “Works Do” just recently – for the first time since 2019. This is a chance to say a big thank you to all our staff – and just as importantly their families. It gives us all a chance to let their hair down and have a fun time together.

It has been a challenge for all of us to maintain our social relationships during lockdown so the value of people having a chance to relax, have a few drinks and generally making fools of themselves cannot be over emphasised.
The next time there is a problem at work having a larger extended family to work with to resolve it means that a problem shared is a problem halved. You cannot put a value on having an effective work culture in place in any organisation – we understand and embrace the importance of having that in Preston Technical!
